Vellum Hearts

Good morning, Friends! What a busy week it has been! And so many fun things are happening! I had a great weekend with a great friend, then the new Stampin' Up! Catalog Premier event, and then I was home for a few days. Yesterday I got to place my first order for new Stampin' Up! products that were in the "Sneak Peek"! Ooooo! I can't wait for those to come to my door!! Yesterday was also an all-day sewing day for me with some great friends! I got a lot done, too! And today I get to do another all-day sew with a different group of ladies. I haven't been to an all-day sew with this particular group so I am looking forward to meeting some great people! Then tonight I am looking forward to spending time with Becky doing some stitching! I haven't see her in a while and it will be fun to catch up! So I haven't had much time to stamp. I hope to have a card done for tomorrow but I'm not sure that will happen. I do have to get one done for the Stamp Review Crew hop that happens on Monday! Lots to do!!

Today's card is an easy one! I really like how this one came together!

  • Card base is Soft Sky
  • Take another piece of Soft Sky and use the scallop edge border punch to punch the end
  • Adhere a piece of the gold foil designer vellum to the scalloped panel
  • Tie a piece of gold twine around the panel and then adhere to card base with dimensionals
  • Stamp the greeting from Perfect Pennants in Island Indigo and cut out using the Banners framelits and then adhere to card
Super simple! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Perfect Pennants; Paper- Soft Sky, Very Vanilla, gold foil designer vellum; Ink- Island Indigo; Accessories- scallop edge border punch, gold twine, Banners framelits, dimensionals

  1. Deb,
Your cards are so lovely. So well designed and clean. They make me happy every time I visit your blog. I don't comment as often as I should, but I just wanted to tell you today how much of an inspiration your stamping style is to me. Keep up the beautiful creations. ;)
