Crushed Curry Leaves

Good morning, Friends! Wow! It has been a wild couple of weeks around here! I came home from my friend, Sherry's, house and found out that we were going to be moving ASAP! Not a big deal as we knew we would be moving soon but didn't expect it that soon! So instead of unloading all the fun goodies I kept them packed up and starting throwing, donating and packing everything else in our house! Lol!! Well, we've done a lot but there is still lots to do! Then Nick had soccer tryouts in Denver so he and I took off for that and Pat stayed behind to take a lot of stuff to storage. And now we wait to see if we have a place to move to. We should find out today or tomorrow. And then I hope it's ready for us to move into!! Don't like the waiting game! We are really excited to move! Closer to town! Nick did great at his soccer tryouts! He has one more tryout and then we wait to see if he makes the team! Today he finds out which basketball team he is on. Of course he is hoping he is on the "A" team but said he would be happy either way. I had to get him new basketball shoes while we were in Denver. That was a chore!! I didn't know boys could be so picky - lol!! I need to get some stamping done today and then I hope to pack it all up!

Today's card was one I did for a swap last month. I think that I missed fall around here as it has been snowing in the mountains! But There are still some trees in the lower valley areas that are showing their colors. So bright and vibrant! Here are the card details:

  • Card base is Soft Sky
  • Layer of Sahara Sand that was run through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder and then sponged with Sahara Sand ink
  • Strip of Whisper White that was stamped with the greeting from Sweet Essentials in Chocolate Chip
  • Strip of Sweater Weather designer paper was punched with the scallop edge border punch and then adhered to the Whisper White strip
  • Strip of Chocolate Chip with the ends cut at an angle is adhered to other strips then adhered to Sahara Sand panel
  • Pop Panel up onto card
  • Use Autumn Accents die to cut a leaf from Crushed Curry card stock and from Sweater Weather designer paper
  • Sponge leaves with Crushed Curry ink
  • Loop some linen thread on the back of the leaves and then pop up onto card
  • Punch a flower from Tangerine Tango card stock, adhere to card and add a pearl
There you have it! Thanks for stopping by and have a super day!

  1. So, are you moving closer to Grand Junction? I live in Colorado Springs. When our daughter and her family lived in as Vegas, we would drive through that part of CO.
    Love the card!
