Summer Solstice in Fall

Good morning, Friends! Geesh! I cannot believe how cold it has been these last two mornings! Cold enough to produce a hard frost in the mornings! And there is a good amount of snow on our nearby mountains! We have the heater going this morning. Nick is supposed to have a soccer game this afternoon. I do hope the other team can travel over the mountains. They play this afternoon and it is supposed to warm up a little. Good thing they run around a lot so they can keep warm! I will be bundled up!! So nice to have a weekend at home! I don't have plans to get a lot done but it is just nice to be at home!

Today's card is one that I did for a recent swap I was in. I took my colors from a card I saw in the catalog. I do like how it turned out. The Crumb Cake oval inside the frame is stamped with the Fine Flourish background stamp and sponged (hard to see it in the picture). Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! Have a super day!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Summer Solstice, Fine Flourish; Paper- Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Pool Party, Confetti Cream; Ink- Peach Parfait, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake; Accessories- Soft Suede taffeta ribbon, Stripes embossing folder, mini brads, designer frames embossing folder, itty bitty shapes punch pack, extra large oval punch, sponge, dimensionals

  1. Great card - I like how you only embellished the top part of the card, and I like the little arrangement in the frame. It's beautiful.

  2. Beautiful card! What did you use to 'cut out' the little embossed frame?
