Curly Labels

Goooood morning! I have to say that I am a little worried for myself. Each day of my spring break I am sleeping in a little later and later. That's not good! For when Tuesday comes around (and it will sooner than I want), I will be needing to get up MUCH earlier than I have been. I am sure that I will adjust but not very easily. Needless to say, I have enjoyed every minute of my break and I know that I will be rested when it is time to go back.

Today's card was inspired by a card that Dawn McVey had published in the recent Cards magazine. I just LOVE her style! People have said that they love my clean and simple style. Well, you should take a look at her blog! She is the queen of clean and simple. A lot of my inspiration comes from her. Anyway, I did change the background paper that I used. Talk about simple... the only thing stamped was the greeting! But don't look to close at my stamped greeting. I got a little 'tic' mark when I stamped it. UGH! I hate it when that happens! And it was the last thing I did! Anyway, thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!!

Card Recipe: Stamps- On Your Birthday; Paper- Kraft, Chocolate Chip, To The Nines designer paper; Ink- Chocolate Chip; Accessories- Chocolate Chip taffeta ribbon, curly label punch, three for you flower punch, brads, dimensionals

  1. Sometimes, very, very gently you can remove those "tics"with a sanding block. Usually I just put something over them if possible, like another little flower. I kow what you mean, especially when it happens at the end!!
Nice card, I love your art.

  2. Beautiful card, even the tic looks good:-) Love the colors. Mary Jo

  3. Love this! Hope you don't mind if I CASE - I need to send out lots of birthday cards this month and this is such a great (and quick) card! Thanks for the inspiration.
