Patchwork Blossoms

Good Morning everyone! I hope that your day is off to a fantastic start! Just think, the weekend is almost here! I can't believe that this will be the last weekend of June! Where is the summer going and why does it have to get there so fast? Yikes!

Today's card is one that I am not real excited about. I tried to follow a sketch and came up with this one. This card is a great way to use up some of those scraps of designer paper. And it is pretty easy to do. The sketch used a square card but I like to keep my cards to the "normal" 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. When I put the layers on I just glued the designer papers and the cardstock blocks together first and then wrapped my ribbon around that. Then I pierced some holes in each of the opposite corners. I would like to try this card again sometime but change it up a little. Again, not my favorite but maybe it will inspire you. Let me know what you come up with! Enjoy!

Card Recipe: Stamps- Embrace Life; Paper- Ruby Red, River Rock, Groovy Guava, Whisper White, Ginger Blossoms designer paper; Ink- black StazOn, Groovy Guava; Accessories- scallop punch, Groovy Guava double stitched ribbon, circle punch, crafter's tool kit, dimensionals
